Loved the location of Mure Beppu. It is opposite a mall and fronts a main road, but the rooms are quiet and peaceful for sleeping. The room was so much larger than expected with thoughtful touches - face products on top of the usual toiletries. We loved the onsen in our room which was massive for two. There’s also private onsen on the roof that can be booked by hotel guests. The cafe downstairs (which shares a space with the hotel lobby) serves a good coffee/matcha drink with dango, a particular highlight are the outdoor seating with a foot onsen!

Rachel

After two months of travelling in Japan and experiencing many communal onsens, having a private onsen in room (and spacious room of a small hotel at that), and a quiet space overall here, was exactly what we wanted. It was on high side of our affordability but we enjoyed it immensely. Figuring out how to use the kettle took a few goes (as it’s digital electronic and no brand name). Staff helpful, and even allowed us to store the hire bikes safely in front of their security camera. Would like to come back.

This hotel exceeded expectations with its spacious rooms that blend modern design seamlessly. The staff were notably attentive and friendly. A highlight was the luxurious private onsen in the room, offering a unique and relaxing experience. Private park on site was another plus.

Bo

Updated facilities and aesthetic was what we were looking for and private onsen. Location was not an issue and was easy to walk, taxi or bus. We are foreigners and they had devices to translate for easier communication which was nice and accommodating.

Nerissa

The staff is very friendly. They opened the door for us early in the morning (the reception is not operating at night) and let us leave our luggage until 2pm. The onsen in the room was excellent. There is a large convenient mall across the street.
